Kids Hairstyles
For children's hairstyles, keeping things simple usually last until they turn around 12 years old. From then on they seem to have ideas of their own on how they want their hair to look, and as parents we just have to make sure it is not too wild. However, for younger kids where parents still have great influence how hair should be worn or cut, there are some cute options available. Because kids are so active, both boys and girls, hairstyles that are easy to manage and will not get tangled up easily are great everyday options.
Because young boys will usually have easier to manage hair, young girls hairstyles take a little more effort to maintain at that age. Because young boys' hairstyles can be easily worn at any special occasion, it is much easier to get them ready. Because kids at this age are more concerned about playing rather than socially fitting in the crowd, hairstyles do not need to be the hot, fashionable ones. Hairstyles need to be simple, easy to manage, and for girls, not too long so that it does not hamper their fun on swings, slides, or other fun activities. .
Kids' Hairstyles for Young Boys
For young boys there are handfuls of cute hairstyles. Some of the favorites of many parents because they are very simple and easy to manage are crew cuts and short spikes. These kids' hairstyles are great because they are shorter in length and easy to create while allowing young boys little concern on their hair. Spikes and crew cuts are cute looks for active young boys like those little soccer or football players, and for chubby little rascals, this look makes them even cuter. Another popular style for young boys is what we call the slight sweep. Here the hair is parted to one side with hair length that is not too long. This kid's hairstyle is accomplished by combing the hair towards one side in the middle. This look is great for everyday playing as well as special events. The last, very simple hairstyle for young boys is the simple comb down. Here hair is slightly above the eyebrows and combed straight down on all sides. The hair on the sides is longer as well than it would be with crew cuts. This look is opposite of the crew cut but looks just as cute. There are many other hairstyles for young boys but these are our favorites.
Young Girls, Kids' Hairstyles
Because there are so many cute hairstyles for young girls, moms usually tend to enjoy doing their daughters hair. Because they are so active, their hairstyles should be simple yet still allow cute little add-ons. For young girls, the two most popular options are short hair a little past the ears or shoulder length hair. These two hairstyles allow some options with different cute looks. Short hairstyles are better for very active girls because it is less likely to get tangled up and is easier to clean and manage. The longer hair is great for cute looks as the ends can be curled or waved for cute looks. Both hairstyles can be styled with curls, ringlets and waves. The long hairstyle takes more time to manage because of tangles and knots but for playful activities can be tied up in ponytails. The long hairstyles are great for special events where your child's hair can be styled, pinned up, or any other cute style that long hair provides. There are so many cutes looks in magazines and online that moms will definitely have fun dressing up their children.
